Here is a list of some materials used in the California Auto:
Blade - 154CM Surgical Stainless steel from crucible metals in the U.S.A. The metal is heat treated to 59 - 60 Rockwell, then cryogenically treated to make the material even more durable.
Bolster/Spine - Zytel - a very durable form of plastic/vinyl.
Scale - Dymondwood - High quality laminated hardwood.
Trigger - Die cast zinc w/dull chrome plating.
Liners - Laser cut out of 302 Stainless Steel and precision double disc grown to an exact thickness necessary to maintain a quality knife.
